Services
What we run, and what you receive
Six service lines, scoped individually or as a combined monthly engagement. Each one is an operational and compliance service delivered on your own books, in your own systems.
Scope boundary. Every service below is a bookkeeping, payroll, taxation or reporting support service for a registered business. None of it constitutes investment, securities, lending, deposit, insurance or payment services, none of it requires registration with RBI, SEBI, IRDAI or PFRDA, and at no point do we receive, hold or transfer your money. See our scope of services and regulatory disclosure.
Service 01
Bookkeeping & accounts
The base layer. Everything else depends on the ledgers being complete, reconciled and current.
Included
- Weekly recording of sales, purchases, expenses and journal entries
- Bank, credit card and payment-gateway reconciliation
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers with ageing
- Fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Inter-company and related-party ledger maintenance
- Month-end close and trial balance sign-off by the 10th
You receive, monthly
- Closed and reconciled books in your own accounting licence
- Trial balance, general ledger and reconciliation statements
- Receivable and payable ageing with items flagged for your attention
- A written close note listing exceptions, missing documents and open queries
Platforms
Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Xero. We work inside your subscription and on your data. If you have no system yet, we will recommend one and set it up during onboarding — we take no commission from any software vendor.
Service 02
Payroll processing
Salary computation and the statutory deductions that sit on top of it, run to a fixed date every month.
Included
- Monthly salary computation from your approved inputs
- Attendance, leave and variable-pay processing
- Provident Fund and ESI computation and return preparation
- Professional tax computation by state
- Salary TDS computation, employee declarations and proof verification
- Full-and-final settlement working for exits
You receive, monthly
- Payroll register and department-wise cost summary
- Individual payslips, distributed to employees or handed to you
- A bank payment file for you to approve and execute
- Statutory challans prepared and ready for your payment
- Form 16 at year end and 24Q returns each quarter
We do not disburse salaries. We prepare the payment file and the challans; you authorise and release every payment from your own bank account. No employee or statutory payment ever passes through an account controlled by MOJ Consulting Group.
Service 03
GST compliance
Returns prepared from reconciled books rather than assembled at the deadline from whatever is to hand.
Included
- GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation and filing, all registered states
- GSTR-2B input tax credit reconciliation against purchase records
- Vendor follow-up list for credits not appearing in 2B
- E-invoicing and e-way bill workflow setup and monitoring
- Annual return and reconciliation statement preparation support
- Documentation and working papers for departmental notices
You receive, monthly
- Filed returns with acknowledgement numbers
- Input tax credit reconciliation showing matched, unmatched and disputed credits
- A liability working showing exactly how the payable was computed
- A rolling compliance calendar with the next 90 days of due dates
Note on notices
We prepare and organise the records, workings and reconciliations that a response requires. Representation before tax authorities, where it is needed, is carried out by an independent qualified practitioner appointed by you and engaged directly with you.
Service 04
TDS & income tax filing support
Deduction schedules, quarterly returns and corporate filings, prepared from the same closed books.
Included
- Section-wise TDS applicability review on vendor payments
- Monthly deduction schedules and challan preparation
- Quarterly 24Q and 26Q return preparation and filing
- Form 16 and Form 16A generation and issuance
- Advance tax computation each quarter
- Corporate income tax return preparation and filing support
- Form 26AS and AIS reconciliation against your books
You receive
- Monthly deduction register and prepared challans
- Quarterly return acknowledgements and default reports from TRACES
- Certificates issued to vendors and employees on schedule
- An advance-tax working before each instalment date
Tax compliance work is the preparation and filing of returns required by law from your recorded transactions. It is not personal tax planning, and we do not offer it to individuals.
Service 05
Management reporting
A monthly pack built from your own closed books, so the numbers in the report and the numbers in the ledger are the same numbers.
Included
- Profit and loss statement with prior-period and year-to-date comparison
- Balance sheet as at the close date
- Cash-flow statement and a rolling receipts-and-payments view
- Revenue and cost breakdowns by service line, client or location
- Budget-versus-actual variance where you maintain a budget
- Written commentary on movements over an agreed threshold
- A 30-minute review call each month with your engagement lead
What this reporting is. It is a presentation and analysis of transactions already recorded in your own accounts — internal management information for your own decision-making.
What it is not. It is not investment research, not a valuation, not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, not a solicitation of capital from anyone, and not a document prepared for circulation to prospective investors. It carries no assurance opinion. Statutory audit and attest work, where your entity requires it, is performed by an independent auditor appointed by you.
Format
Delivered as a PDF pack with the underlying spreadsheets, issued on the same day the books close. The template is agreed with you during onboarding and stays stable so that months are comparable.
Service 06
Books clean-up & migration
A defined one-off project, quoted separately from the monthly retainer, for businesses whose records have fallen behind or need moving.
Included
- Backlog recording for prior months or years
- Historical bank and ledger reconciliation
- Opening balance verification and correction
- Chart of accounts restructuring to a usable standard
- Duplicate, suspense and unallocated entry resolution
- Platform migration with a documented data-mapping trail
- A closing report listing every adjustment made and why
How it is priced
By assessed volume — number of periods, transaction count, number of bank accounts and the condition of the source records. You get a fixed quote and a completion date in writing before any work starts. We do not begin a clean-up on an open-ended hourly basis.
Typical timeline
Two to six weeks for a single financial year, depending on transaction volume and how quickly source documents can be produced. Clean-up runs in parallel with current-month operations so you do not fall further behind while it is under way.
Tell us what state your books are in
Twenty minutes on a call is usually enough to scope this accurately. No cost, no obligation.
